•13 January 2008 • Leave a CommentOver 3 years ago is when I really got into photography; this started when I got my Nikon D70, but soon after that, while down on a holiday in Dunsborough, I bought Christian Fletcher’s book “Landscapes” and was drawn to his panoramic photos. I fell in love with the panoramic format and have been stitching photos together ever since.
Christian Fletcher has a blog: http://christianfletcher.wordpress.com and his new stuff continues to influence me; after seeing his latest photo of the yachts I got my camera and headed down to Matilda Bay and got this shot.
Albany again

•15 December 2007 • Leave a CommentI’m off to Albany over the Christmas break and looking forwards to some photography down there with my new D300
Here are a couple of shots I took down there last year; the first was taken on the way to Little Beach and the second was taken at Little Beach. I must say, I’m so glad I was a bit lazy that morning and didn’t get to Little Beach before sunrise or I would have missed the first image.
Swan Valley
•13 December 2007 • Leave a CommentThe Swan Valley is quite a good spot for photos.
Me and my mate Josh were cruising up a road when I looked back and this scene caught my eye; we got out of the car, jumped an electric fence (which we weren’t aware of, however Josh certainly found out… poor dude) took the shot, then the rain just pored down on us; still worth the shot… and the shock
Taken with my D70
The image below has got to be one of my all time favorite shots. Taken with an X-Pan, an excellent panoramic camera that uses 35mm film.
